About the event
This election for second-in-command was not about a single person, but about choosing a co-leader who can work with the head counselor to guide our camp. The campers cast their votes for second-in-command, a democratic process that emphasized sportsmanship and respect for all candidates. Kids who are going to run for it will be 6th graders only.

The second-in-command's history of volunteerism, their time as a camper, and a track record of supporting others, promise to bridge the gap between counselors and campers by drawing on their deep understanding of the camp's traditions and values. They promises to expand the camp's creative programs by adding a talent show, or a weekly "open mic" night, as an example. Seeking to ensure every camper has a way to express their unique creative.
